Who we are

What we cover as local counsel

• Tax enforcement defense (execução fiscal) — Release of frozen accounts, guarantee, defense, installment plans and settlements with the tax authorities.
• Tax litigation — Administrative proceedings and court actions: annulment claims, motions to stay enforcement, writs of mandamus, appeals to the higher courts.
• Customs matters — Classification, special regimes, administrative defense in import and export cases.
• Social security contributions — Assessment, defense and recovery.
• Fiscal review and credit recovery — Review of filings and ancillary obligations for the previous five years, to identify amounts paid unduly or in excess.
